The Priests

Whenever the first album released by an artist/group is always the best ever compared with his/her/their second album. The select of songs are bravo and the arrangement of voice (Bass & Tenor) and switch between different person during the song is well arranged and furthermore the technical on the voice recording is fantastic. I have also purchased the DVD of their concert but the concert is a totally disaster compared with their "Harmony" album. Will wait for Amazon to ask me for a review on their "Harmony" concert DVD.
Not sure want to buy or not ? Yes, buy the CD (at least it is well adjusted by sound engineers) but think twice for the DVD.

I first saw the Priests several months ago on PBS with their taped concert promoting their newest cd. I immediately fell in love with their voices, music choices and stage presence. So of course I had to order their first cd. And what a real treat this cd is. The harmonies are simply delightful to listen to. The music on this cd is mostly sacred, however it can be enjoyed by anyone. I cannot stop playing this cd. I hope there are many more to come.

I've been listening to this CD nonstop since getting it. It's not just Catholic church music, it's pure balm for your soul even for a nonbeliever like me. The Priests and their music, esp the song Irish Blessing, make you feel like there is more good and just in the world than bad and unjust.

The CD is wonderful and had been recommended as a gift to an elderly friend. I didn't open the package until the day I needed it....ooops, the case was cracked all down the front side. The CD was not damaged so I did put it in a new blank case and was able to use it. If the case were wrapped in bubble wrap, all would have been fine...Perhaps you could do that in the future. I was grateful you had this in stock and at such a reasonable price!

I first heard this CD at a friends home. I liked the music. The three voices blended well and helped me feel the peace they expressed in their singing.
