It Will Melt Your Heart

I was thrilled to see this album come out after the wonderful "Mountain Soul." "Mountain Soul II" is another treasure. Beautiful music, song selection, instrumentals. and, of course, vocals. There are songs that will make you laugh, and others that will bring tears to your eyes. Thank you, Patty Loveless, for yet another amazing musical gem.

Another first rate CD from Loveless

Mountain Soul I is one of my favorite most played Cds so I lost no time in ordering MSII. Song selection does not strike me as exceptionable as the first CD but still better than most. Loveless' voice and the musicians and backup singers are perfect. This will be another one of my favorites and I hope she continues making this type of music.

song choices bad

Patty Loveless voice is perfect, but I thought the song choices were terrible. I liked about two of the songs. She needs to stick with BlueGrass, her voice is absolutely perfect. Patty Loveless is my favorite singer; I was really disappointed in this CD-she needs to have Ralph Stanley make her song choices and produce her CD's....now Ralph can pick songs!!!

We love you Patty.

Patty, just wanted to let you know that my mom and I loved your first Mountain Soul album so much. Mom would sit there and pat her feet to "The Boys Are Back in Town." We almost wore the CD out. Mom went home in March 2006 and I am ordering Mountain Soul II and hoping I'll love it just as much as the first, and that mom will hear from heaven and enjoy too. I miss her a lot. You have meant so much to us all. May God bless.
