One Love - David Guetta
Although the beat sounds good, the tracks all sound alike. I would hold off making a purchase. Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C
Guetta is a master of the turntable and this collection cements his reputation as the finest DJ in the Western Hemisphere. He's surpassed other artists in this field mainly because he isn't afraid to take risks.
Incidentally, the only track I DIDN'T like on this disk was the title track. "One Love" seemed designed for public consumption and was therefore a watered-down version of Guetta's usual genius.
Other than that, this collection of songs is wonderful-- I've listened to the entire CD at least 30 times since it arrived and that's a good indicator that this is going to stay on heavy rotation on my MP3 player for a long time.
Bravo, Mr. Guetta. You've done it again.

Demos being sold as the genuine item
Price was good, delivery was good but the quality of the cd became worse as the tracks played on. Sticker on cd stated it was a demo (promotional)and not intended for public sale. I think I got ripped off. Won't buy this way again. Monday, May 24th, 2010

David Guetta Bridging the Gap
David Guetta, a renowned DJ released the album "One Love" and it has been taken by masses and has been doing phenomenally on the charts. The 15 track CD infuses the world of Techno music with the voices and sounds of some of the top artists in the music industry. David Guetta does an excellent job of fusing the different styles of music that the artists embrace into a mash up of his own ideals and visions.
The tracks embrace many aspects that are very clear in the history of technosonics music. The song "I Wanna Go Crazy" sounds much like the sounds of early computer music using the synthesizers. In the song one could hear the many points where there are multiple synthesized musical spikes in the song. The song also embraces the technique of looping. Will.I.am the artist in the song's lyrics are the driving force of the song. The lyrics of the song are used to drive the `crazy' experience that song is calling for.
Further David Guetta's music resembles music from the Techno musical centers of the world. The music resembles much of the music that one would hear in Ibiza or Argentina. One of the very positive aspects of the music that David Guetta creates for this CD is the combining of two very different types of music to make a sound that is very marketable to a crowd that may not embrace Techno music.
David Guetta's whole CD resembles much of the sounds of Goa Trance music, back to the days of Goa Gil. The music like Goa Trance music is hoping to get the crowd to go on a journey of musical fulfillment. The composition of the CD resembles a trek through a technological forest of lights and thumping music. This idea is created by embracing of concepts that are similar to Electronishe Muzik. The music uses wave generators, noise generators, filters, and ring modulators that are similar to the Electronishe Muzik.
Even further beyond the composition of the songs the lyrics of the songs embrace a narrative of partying and having fun. He grapples with love, deceit, and partying. In "I Wanna Go Crazy" the whole song is about being able to separate oneself from reality and `go crazy' and just have a good time. In "When Love Takes Over" it is very clear how lyrics are about the moment when someone falls in love and has no control of their feelings for the other person. The composition of the song only helps to build upon the concept of the song with the constant rising of the song that resembles the point in which `love takes over' and a person is completely in love.
David Guetta's CD is a masterpiece to say the least. It is being blasted on college campus and in the homes of many. David Guetta has become an icon for the face of Techno music. One can only hope for more great CD's from David Guetta and for him to constantly create more new and interesting ways to construct music.
